Always interested in exercise and fitness, Terry discovered Pilates in 2002 and soon became hooked.

Taking advantage of an early retirement from The State of Illinois in 2003, she entered the apprenticeship program through Romana’s Pilates, and underwent a demanding and extensive training program that include over 700+ hours of observation, rigorous training on all key pieces of the Pilates apparatus and matwork and passed written and practical performance evaluation.
